				The Contherm "Biocell" Series of Laboratory Culture Incubators offer a wide range of capabilities to the research professional, with accurate and reliable performance assisted by the "Thermoguard" fan management system, which is an integral part of the dynamically balanced true one-pass air circulation system. Available in four variants- Standard, Tropicool, Polar and Product Shelf-Life Determination Chambers, all featuring easy-to-set LED display, high/low limit detection, and the Contherm ZP21 Series microprocessor-based controller/programmer, the Contherm "Biocell" Series Incubators are produced in a range of sizes to satisfy the diverse needs of researchers. All models feature an attractive corrosion-free finish on steel exteriors, with stainless steel interiors and shelves to assure along life. In addition, the microprocessor is EEROM backed to retain set-points and calibration factor during power failures. Manufactured in a quality production environment, complying with AS/NZS 3350 and EEC harmonised standards for Electrical Safety and EMC.

				Standard Incubators
				Standard Incubators Eight models are available, all offering programmable as well as steady-state operation, with set-points and calibration factor retained in memory. All units offer a controlled operating temperature range of Ambient+2°C to 100°C. The inner door of toughened glass with purpose-designed compression seals and hinge system allows excellent visual monitoring of samples without disturbing the chamber environment, even at maximum temperatures. In addition, outer doors are fitted with soft-closing magnetic seals to ensure jar-free culture growth.    Model 1300 Incubator

				Tropicool Variants
				Tropicool Variants   The following should be read in conjunction with information covering the entire Biocell Series of incubators, as details unique to the "Tropicool" Variants only are described below. To enable laboratory technicians to deal cost-effectively with bacteriological culturing in the tropics, Contherm has developed the Tropicool system. This entirely new thermoelectric technology represents a significant advance on traditional refrigeration techniques - and gives the Contherm Biocell "Tropicool" variant incubators a new dimension in quality and performance. The Tropicool system is a reliable, economical and environmentally-friendly means of cooling. The heart of this system is a solid-state, semi-conductor device which contains no moving parts or plumbing, yet is very effective at transferring heat energy. With low power consumption, operating temperatures of 24°C at an ambient of 30°C, for instance, can be achieved. 			CSL Product Shelf-Life Determination Chambers   For long or short term product shelf life investigations for the pharmaceutical and product packaging industries, these Contherm Biocell CSL variants feature an optional recorder, and are based on the proven Contherm Biocell Incubators. Offering accurate and reliable long-term control, with a temperature control range from 25°C to 40°C, a humidity range from 55%RH to 80%RH, and one-pass uniform air circulation system, these are the ideal cabinets for shelf-life determination. A cable port is fitted as standard equipment.
